If a government adopted a type of Socialism that completely worked and improved quality of life?

Socialism is the best form off government. Free Market still exists, but many crucial services are provided by the government. Many who knock it recall Nazi's (socialists in name only, they were fascists) or the USSR (socialist in name only, totalitarians masquerading)
