Are you allowed to skip a year in foreign language and take it next year and still get a credit for it?

hello! ok so i took French 1 my freshman year and french 2 my sophomore year and i want to take academy my junior year and it takes up 4 of my classes so i don't have space for a foreign language but i still need one more credit for foreign language for advanced diploma.Am i allowed to take the third part foreign language my senior year and get credit for it? I hope you understand my question. Please help thanks. I'll be looking forward to helpful answers. :)
